Who we are

MISSION TECHNOLOGIES CO LTD., based in Hong Kong, operates wisetank.co. Questions about privacy can go to support@wisetank.co.

Enquiries and free reservations

An enquiry records the contact details you provide, your chosen model or enquiry type, the page language and your message. A reservation also records the delivery details, country, postcode, model, quantity and plug selection needed to handle that request. A free reservation is not a payment.

Please include only the information needed to answer your enquiry. Do not put card numbers, passwords or identity documents in a message. The free product-question tool processes your question to return an answer based on our public product information; it does not use a paid external AI service.

What the store records

Your shopping cart is saved in your browser so you can return to it after refreshing the page. Shopify manages checkout and the order details you enter there, including contact and delivery information. If you use an account or a sign-in service, that service also processes the information needed to sign you in.

Payment details

Card and payment details are entered on Shopify’s secure checkout pages and handled by Shopify and the selected payment provider. Do not send them to WiseTank by email or through a form. We do not collect or store full card numbers through this website’s enquiry or reservation forms.

Why we need it

We use contact and order information to answer questions, prepare quotations, manage reservations, process and deliver orders, provide tracking updates and handle returns or warranty claims. We also keep records needed to manage the business and meet applicable legal obligations.

Service providers and overseas handling

Information needed to provide these services may be handled by Shopify, payment and sign-in providers, our website and data-hosting providers, and delivery partners. We do not sell your information. Customer contact and delivery details are not published on our public product or blog pages; order management is restricted to authorised administrators.

WiseTank is operated from Hong Kong and orders are dispatched from mainland China. Handling your enquiry or order can therefore involve processing information outside Australia or New Zealand. Service providers may also process information in other countries under their own privacy terms.

Browser storage and product-range clicks

The website uses browser storage for the shopping cart and sign-in where applicable. We also record clicks on the homepage gas-bottle and water-tank range images and buttons, including the page language and whether the device is classed as mobile or desktop, to understand which range visitors want to browse. That click record does not include a name, email address or delivery address.

Website hosts and checkout providers may process technical information, such as request logs and browser details, to operate and protect their services. Shopify checkout may use cookies under Shopify’s privacy terms. Clearing your browser storage can remove your saved cart or sign-in session.

How long we keep it

How long information is needed depends on the request and any order, return, warranty, accounting or legal obligations associated with it. Contact us if you want to ask about a particular record. We cannot promise immediate deletion where information is still needed to resolve an issue or meet an applicable obligation.

Your choices

Email support@wisetank.co to request access to your information, correct a detail, ask for deletion or raise a privacy concern. Tell us enough to locate your enquiry or order, but do not send sensitive identity documents unless we explain why they are needed and how to provide them safely. We may need to verify that a request relates to your own information.

We will consider your request under applicable privacy requirements and explain any information we need to retain. If you have a complaint, describe what happened and the outcome you are seeking so we can investigate.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the update date at the top of the page changes with it.
